In the event of a Public Safety Power Shutoff, Mesa Water District (Mesa WaterĀ®) is prepared to continue providing high-quality drinking water.

Mesa Waterā€™s sites have emergency backup power to keep water running throughout the service area. Further, highly-trained staff monitor and control facilities through the Districtā€™s state-of-the-art Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, which can detect loss of power.

While we do not anticipate any interruptions in your water service during a power shutoff, it is critical that you are prepared should an interruption occur. If there is a loss of pressure in the drinking water system, you may need to use supplies stored at home. Learn more about preparing an emergency water supply.

Mesa Water works continuously to ensure that our infrastructure and systems remain reliable in the event of an emergency. Rest assured that Mesa Water is prepared to act immediately and efficiently to restore clean, safe and reliable water to your home or workplace.

Mesa Water will make every effort to post current information to its website at MesaWater.org, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and NextDoor. We also encourage customers sign up for our email emergency notices and news here.
