Water-Wise House Calls are available weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Urban Water Management Plan Water Code Sections 10610 through 10656 of the Urban Water Management Planning Act (Act) require every urban water supplier providing water for municipal purposes to more than 3,000 customers or supplying more than 3,000 acre-feet (AF) of water annually to prepare, adopt, and file an Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) with the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) every five years. The 2020 UWMP is a detailed summary of present and future water resources and demands within Mesa Water’s service area. This WSCP complies with California Water Code (Water Code) Section 10632, which requires that every urban water supplier shall prepare and adopt a WSCP as part of its Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP). This level of detailed planning and preparation is intended to help maintain reliable supplies and reduce the impacts of supply interruptions.
