Mainline Valve Replacement Project

Mesa Water District (Mesa Water®) constantly invests in its infrastructure to ensure a reliable water supply. Work is under way on the Mainline Valve Replacement Project in residential and commercial areas of Costa Mesa and Newport Beach. The project will replace 73 mainline valves in the distribution system, and will be completed by Spring 2023.

SCADA Control Room and Wet Lab Upgrade

Mesa Water District’s construction of the SCADA Control Room and Wet Lab Upgrade at its Mesa Water Reliability Facility (MWRF) will resume in October. The new facility will allow Mesa Water staff to host educational programs and tours at the MWRF.

Committed to providing safe, high-quality drinking water, Mesa Water District (Mesa Water®) will construct two new potable water wells and a pipeline in Santa Ana. The wells will allow Mesa Water to increase local water production capacity. Construction will begin in August 2020.
