COSTA MESA, Calif.; June 22, 2021 ā€“ Mesa Water Districtā€™s (Mesa WaterĀ®) 2021 Water Quality Report (Report) is now available and highlights that the Districtā€™s high quality, local groundwater supplies meet all stringent state and federal drinking water regulations.

ā€œMesa Water conducts more than 30,000 water quality tests each year to ensure our water meets rigorous drinking water standards,ā€ says Marice H. DePasquale, Mesa Water Board President. ā€œWe are pleased to deliver 100% safe, local and reliable water to our community, from our local groundwater wells straight to the tap.ā€

The annual Report provides valuable information about Mesa Waterā€™s exceptional water supply sources. Mesa Water provides 100% of its water supplies from local groundwater, with some of that water pumped from deep underground and treated at the state-of-the-art Mesa Water Reliability Facility.

The Water Quality Report also includes water use efficiency information, including how to check a water meter to detect a leak. Further water-wise tips, rebates and recommended outdoor watering schedules can be found at MesaWater.org/SaveWater.

The Report is available at MesaWater.org/WaterQualityReport. Additionally, it can be requested by emailing info@MesaWater.org, by calling 949.631.1201, and can be translated into other languages upon request. A video about the Report, as well as the Districtā€™s water origin and treatment process is available on Mesa Waterā€™s website.

Residents and businesses in Mesa Waterā€™s service area were notified about the Report via a postcard mailed in late June.
