Save Water, Save Money: Water-Efficient Landscape Workshops and Expo to be Hosted by Mesa Water

Drought-tolerant landscaping classes offered at no charge to participants

WHAT: Mesa Water continues to focus on long-term solutions to the water supply challenges regularly confronting Southern California. Conservation staff will host two workshops designed to share tips and tools for improving the water-efficiency of a coastal Orange County, California yard. The first workshop on April 9 introduces participants to California-friendly plants and landscape design. The second workshop on April 16 shares water-efficient irrigation practices, watering principles, retention, and soils and fertilizers. A water-efficient landscape expo will be held April 30 at Costa Mesa’s Home Depot.

WHO: The public is invited to participate in Mesa Water’s Board-sponsored, water-efficient landscape workshops and expo that provide information about our water supplies and ways to be water-wise.
