Be Waterwise and Get Your Mesa Water Fair Face on Every Wednesday Afternoon During the 2016 OC Fair

Guided Garden Tours Offered Noon to 5 p.m. on Water-Wise Wednesdays

WHAT: Take a guided tour of Mesa Water’s beautiful and water-efficient demonstration garden during the 2016 OC Fair to learn where your water comes from and how to beautify your landscape with California-Friendly plants. The garden features drought-tolerant plants, drip irrigation, mulch and other water-saving features that create an attractive landscape, prevent water waste, save money and protect the environment. Mesa Water conservation staff will lead tours, answer questions and share tips. Visitors will have an opportunity to get their Mesa Water “Fair Face On” through the Hank the Hydrant, Hairy Hardhat or Wilma Waterdrop characters that represent Mesa Water’s high-quality and reliable water supply and delivery. Guests may also receive a water-wise prize.

WHO: The public is invited to visit Mesa Water’s Water-Wise Garden (free with fair admission).

WHEN: Wednesdays at the OC Fair: July 27 and August 3 and 10 from noon to 5:00 p.m.
