Mesa Water District Hires Stacy Lynne Taylor As Communications Manager

Costa Mesa, Calif. –  Mesa Water District hired Stacy Lynne Taylor as Communications Manager, effective August 9. She most recently was Principal of Taylor Public Relations, a marketing communications consultancy in Huntington Beach, CA. She also held posts at Porter Novelli in the agency’s Los Angeles office.

In her new role, Ms. Taylor serves as Mesa Water District’s community liaison, working with local and regional businesses, community groups, and civic and nonprofit organizations. She is also responsible for legislative affairs, media relations, publications, speaker’s bureau, water education programs, and water industry relations.

"Mesa Water District’s Board of Directors has listed communications as a high priority in its strategic plan, and we are pleased to bring on Stacy Lynne  Taylor as a senior-level communications professional with more than 20 years of experience,” says Shawn Dewane, Board President. He continues, “Our goal is to clearly and consistently communicate the District’s brand, goals, and mission across all audiences.”

Ms. Taylor reports to Paul Shoenberger, General Manager, Mesa Water District.

Mesa provides water service to more than 105,000 customers in an 18 square-mile area. The service area includes the city of Costa Mesa, parts of Newport Beach, and the John Wayne Airport. Mesa is dedicated to satisfying our community's water needs.
