Mesa Water District Hosts 2012 Water Issues Study Group ("WISG")

Mesa Water Annually Hosts WISG Water Education Program for Adults

Costa Mesa, Calif. ; January 23 , 2012Mesa Water District (Mesa Water) offers its annual Water Issues Study Group (WISG), starting this February.  In its 26th consecutive year, the 2012 WISG series begins February 15, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in Mesa Water’s Boardroom located at 1965 Placentia Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA 92627.  The program continues through May with meetings on the third Wednesday monthly at the same time and location.

Mesa Water’s award-winning WISG program is a fee-free adult educational program provided to District customers and community members interested in learning about important local, regional, and state water issues.

“Mesa Water’s Water Issues Study Group is great way for our customers and community to gain knowledge about their water supply and system, while also learning about water use efficiency,” said Mesa Water Board President Fred Bockmiller.  He continued, “The Mesa Water District Board of Directors is proud to offer such a high-quality program for our public…and there’s no cost for participants to attend.”
