Come and Get Your Summer Water Knowledge at Mesa Water's Garden Demonstrations During the 2013 OC Fair

Mesa Water’s Conservation Specialist Highlights California Friendly Plants Designed For Saving Water, Costs, And The Environment

WHAT: Free with OC Fair admission, OC Fair-goers can see how water-wise gardens can be both beautiful and water-efficient by using California Friendly plants, drip irrigation, and other aesthetic landscaping features that prevent water waste, and save money and the environment.  Sponsored by the Mesa Water District (Mesa Water) Board of Directors , the demonstrations educate customers and the community about Water Use Efficiency (“WUE”).

At the conclusion of each demonstration, attendees will receive WUE information and a Mesa Water souvenir (while supplies last), along with a chance to enter a drawing to win a water-wise prize (one winner per show).  Additionally, customers who show their recent Mesa Water bill will also receive a water-wise prize (one prize per person).

WHO: The District’s Conservation Specialist will demonstrate Mesa Water’s demonstration garden at the OC Fair with a brief lecture, followed by a tour of the garden, and a question-answer session.

WHEN: 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on the following dates:

  • July 12, 14, 17, 25, 28, 31 August 3 and 11
