Mesa Water to Give "State of the District" Update on February 5th at Costa Mesa Senior Center

Luncheon Event Takes Place From 11:00 A.M. To 12:00 P.M., Provides Opportunity For Public To Hear From Mesa Water President

WHO: The Mesa Water District (Mesa Water) Board of Directors is hosting a “State of the District” update for Mesa Water customers and community members to learn more about the District and its goals for 2014.  This event is open to the public and press at no cost to attendees.

WHAT: Mesa Water’s Board President, James (“Jim”) R. Fisler, will discuss the District’s significant accomplishments, including its perpetual infrastructure improvements, achieving 100 percent local water reliability with the Mesa Water Reliability Facility (MWRF), receiving a second AAA rating, and more.  Other members of Mesa Water’s Board of Directors also plan to attend.

The event will include a question-and-answer session, water-wise items for each attendee, and a drawing for a water-wise prize.  Lunch will also be provided.

WHEN: Wednesday, February 5, 2014, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

WHERE: Costa Mesa Senior Center, 695 West 19th Street, Costa Mesa

WHY: Mesa Water regularly gives “State of the District” updates to inform consumers about Mesa Water and water in general.  In light of Governor Brown’s recent declaration of a drought State of Emergency for California, it is important for Mesa Water’s customers to know that the District is prepared and well-positioned to withstand the drought.
