Costa Mesa Fire Station Deserves Gold!

Mesa Water District’s Board of Directors presented a gold fire hydrant in honor of Costa Mesa Fire Station No. 1’s accomplishment of achieving Gold LEED certification. The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by industry leaders and community members.

Mesa Water has a long working relationship with Costa Mesa Fire and Rescue and the City of Costa Mesa to ensure we are giving our community safe, local, and reliable drinking water and supplying water needs in the event of an emergency.

Mesa Water maintains approximately 3,456 fire hydrants in Costa Mesa, parts of Newport Beach and unincorporated Costa Mesa. This ensures fire hydrants, like the one presented at the ceremony, are safe, accessible, and operable.

Mesa Water applauds Costa Mesa Fire and Rescue and we look forward to continuing our partnership for decades to come.
