MESA APPOINTS NEW GENERAL MANAGER
Costa Mesa, Calif. – Mesa
Consolidated Water District (Mesa) Board of Director’s
(Board) announces the appointment of Lee Pearl
to the position of General Manager.
Mr.
Pearl has more than 25 years of local government
experience including the last six years as the
General Manager of the Hi-Desert Water District
as well as 17 years with the city of Ontario.
He received his MBA and Bachelor of Science in
Management degrees from California State Polytechnic
University Pomona.
“I
truly appreciate that the Board has expressed
its confidence in my abilities. I have made a
commitment and am dedicated to Mesa and the valuable
services it provides to this great community,” said
Pearl.
“The
district is very confident that Mr. Pearl is
the appropriate choice for the position,” said
Paul Shoenberger, President, Board of Directors. “He
brings an impressive range of knowledge and experience
that will be great assets to Mesa. We are very
happy to have him join the Mesa team.”
Pearl
began his position as Mesa’s General Manager
on June 18, 2007.
Mesa provides water service
to more than 100,000 customers in an 18 square-mile
area. The service area includes the city of Costa
Mesa, parts of Newport Beach, and the John Wayne Airport.
Mesa is dedicated to satisfying our community's water
needs.
