MESA SPONSORS 11TH ANNUAL CHILDREN'S WATER EDUCATION FESTIVAL

Costa Mesa, Calif. – Mesa Consolidated Water District (Mesa) is a proud sponsor of the 11th Annual Children’s Water Education Festival. In addition, Mesa will be a presenter and host an interactive educational booth focusing on water conservation.

“The Board of Directors is committed to educating the public about water issues and promoting wise water use,” said Paul E. Shoenberger, Board President. “The festival is a unique way for Mesa to reach young consumers.”

The annual event will be held May 1 and 2, 2007, at Hidden Valley Park in Irvine . The Festival, which is the largest of its kind in the nation, educates Orange County’s fourth and fifth-grade students about water and the environment.

Sponsors, water retailers and municipalities, and presenters from Los Angeles to San Diego make the event possible for local educators and students. People interested in being a part of this incredible event, may sign up to volunteer. Community support of the Festival is essential to its continued success.
